Kindergarten

My daughter turned 5 over the summer.  She started kindergarten this past August.  I am finding it very difficult to adjust to this new phase, I miss my baby!!

She has gotten upset a few times with school.  She misses the friends she made in pre-k.  I am really hoping this is normal and she adjusts.  She is a very bright and friendly little girl and I hope she makes new friends.

City Hall

At City Hall….waiting, waiting, waiting. I am trying to be patient but there always seem to be a problem. I didn’t make, I did what I was told. They messed up some paperwork and now I am waiting and waiting.

Barbie bed

The bed for Barbie’s dollhouse is coming along pretty well. I have not sewed in years so it is a little tough. I just glued the “sheets” on the mattresses and used Velcro to keep the skirt on the frame. I am sewing the comforter which is proving challenging. Cutting everything the same length, sewing straight, and dealing with the loose threads. It does not lay on the bed right. I made one last night but I am not happy with it. Going to make another one tonight.

Cut my thumb real good with my new scissors. The are definately sharp.

Locked keys

.On Tuesday I stopped at the gas station on the way to work for a drink. I locked my keys, purse and phone in my car. At least the car was turned off, LOL. Someone came and took me to my apartment for my spare key. Thankfully she has the extra key to my apartment. Since I didn’t have my phone I didn’t know works number to call in late.

What a disaster!!! I am not stopping at THAT gas station for a while!!

Birthday

Mimi’s birthday party went really well.  A lot of people came and everyone seemed to have a good time. We had games for the kids and lots of food. She received a lot of presents.

Update

A bit frustrated, sometimes I can blog with my IPhone and sometimes I can’t.

Any my baby’s 5th Birthday party is this weekend. The theme is Kai-Lan. Not sure how many will come. People say they but they don’t always show. I guess it does not really matter, should fun anyway.
